Junior Corporate Accountant

Your profile:

Initial practical experience in group accounting or auditing is an advantage; alternatively, relevant focus during studies or training

Basic knowledge of HGB; IFRS knowledge is a plus

Strong Excel skills and ideally first experience with ERP systems (e.g. proALPHA) and consolidation tools

Structured, eager-to-learn, and independent working style

Team player with good communication skills and intercultural awareness

High motivation, willingness to learn, and persistence

Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken

Your mission:

Purpose of the Role
As a Junior Corporate Accountant (m/f/d), you will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with HGB and contribute to the continuous improvement of our consolidation processes. You will work closely with our international subsidiaries and headquarters and gain practical experience in group accounting. Your structured approach and motivation make you an important part of the team.
Key Responsibilities

Support in preparing consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB

Assist in the development and optimization of consolidation processes and tools (e.g. Excel, proALPHA, consolidation software)

Help ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in group accounting

Serve as a contact for international subsidiaries under guidance from experienced team members

Support in preparing and auditing the consolidated financial statements, including coordination with external auditors

Close collaboration with the HQ accounting and controlling team and international offices
