Evaluate the current filing status using the ITU database
Identify critical coordination cases
Determine the expected coordination limits per orbital position (GEO) or constellation plane (LEO/MEO) coming from other satellite systems, considering available bandwidth, allowable uplink/downlink power flux densities and regional coverages
Assess the anticipated uplink/downlink ASI (adjacent satellite interference) from other satellite systems
Perform link budget analyses (utilizing OHB in-house tools) to determine system capacity i.e. overall aggregated data rates
Prepare the frequency filing using ITU software and forms for advance publication (API) and coordination request (CR/C)
Interface with the regulatory bodies throughout the coordination phase
Manage coordination cases originating from other operators
Perform notification and Bring-into-Use formalities
Assist in frequency filings for ground stations and terminals
Negotiate frequency sharing with other operators on non-interference basis for any unresolved coordination cases
Protect own frequency filing and coordination results against any new filings
Master’s degree in RF or communication engineering, or equivalent qualification
Excellent understanding of the space-to-ground link, its key parameters and potential interference sources in the uplink and downlink
Knowledge of current standards (e.g. DVB-S2X, RCS) and emerging standards (e.g. 5G/6G NTN) for satellite communications
Experience in systems engineering is desirable
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team
Very good knowledge of the English language
