Our client is a network and cybersecurity solutions provider, trusted by enterprises and service providers across Europe. They deliver network, security and cloud connectivity solutions.

The company’s TAC and operations team provide high-level support and troubleshooting for customers’ complex network and security infrastructures. To strengthen this team, they are now seeking an experienced Network Security Support Engineer - a skilled technical expert who thrives on solving problems, supporting customers, and keeping critical systems secure and stable.

Responsibilities

Provide 3rd line technical support across network and security environments.
Manage customer engineering support for firewall, switching, and routing solutions.
Focus primarily on firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and monitoring (Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
Support switching and routing infrastructure, predominantly using Juniper technologies.
Work with other TAC engineers and Professional Services teams to ensure smooth handovers and quick resolution of incidents.
Participate in an on-call rotation, providing expert support outside normal business hours

Skills/Must have

Native German speaker (excellent customer communication skills).
Proven experience with Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet technologies — ideally from a vendor or service provider perspective.
Solid experience working in a 3rd line support or TAC environment.
Strong understanding of network and firewall fundamentals (routing, switching, VPNs, policies, monitoring).
A structured, analytical approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
