We’re looking for a highly organized and proactive Operations & Project Coordinator to support our growing e-commerce business. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on managing diverse projects, keeping operations smooth, and enabling leadership to focus on strategy. You’ll be driving projects, managing supply chain operations, supporting reporting and analysis, and streamlining workflows.
Paid Hours per Week: 20
Schedule: Flexible within client's business hours | New Zealand Time

Contract: Independent Contractor
Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.
Strategic Project Execution
Drive diverse, mid-sized projects end-to-end (e.g., onboarding new 3PLs, coordinating AI/social automation builds, agency vetting).
Understand the intent behind each initiative and execute creatively to achieve outcomes.
Research, compare, and communicate with partners while managing project timelines.
Supply & Operations Management
Maintain stock and supply forecasts.
Create and issue purchase orders.
Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers (including Alibaba partners) to ensure timelines are met and resolve delays quickly.
Apply systems thinking and quantitative logic to maintain the flow of goods.
Reporting & Analysis Support
Compile weekly performance dashboards (Shopify, GA4, Meta Ads, Recharge).
Synthesize customer feedback and company metrics for founder review.
Spot anomalies or trends and raise them for discussion.
Inbox & Workflow Management
Manage founder’s inbox, triage messages, draft responses, and highlight priorities.
Coordinate calendar and follow-ups to protect focus time.
Projects consistently delivered on time with minimal follow-up.
Supply-chain operations run predictably (no missed POs or stockouts).
Founder reports feeling significantly freer and more focused.
Clear, logical reporting delivered weekly without reminders.
