What You’ll Do
- Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of Private 5G networks for enterprise environments across the EMEA region, focusing on scalable and secure deployments.
- Contribute to planning Private 5G infrastructure to support wireless ecosystems in manufacturing, warehouses, workplaces, service centers, and retail locations.
- Help develop network architecture designs and evaluate emerging hardware, standards, and protocols (e.g., Private 5G, LTE, and related cellular technologies) under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support the deployment and initial tuning efforts of Private 5G networks, including hands‑on work in varied physical environments.
- Provide technical support for cross‑functional teams integrating Private 5G technologies into existing network infrastructures, adapting to diverse EMEA market needs.
- Participate in troubleshooting complex issues related to Private 5G networks, collaborating on solutions for multi‑site operations.
- Assist in implementing monitoring systems and performance optimization techniques for Private 5G, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regional regulatory requirements.
- Support the creation of secure, scalable 5G communication protocols and policies, with opportunities to learn and apply best practices in enterprise settings.
- Contribute to research on emerging cellular technologies, with hands‑on involvement in pilots and business case development to build your expertise.
- Work under mentorship from senior engineers, helping to establish best practices while developing your skills in Private 5G engineering.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus but not required).
- 3–5 years of professional experience on cellular network engineering, with at least 1–2 years involving Private 5G or related cellular technologies.
- Solid knowledge of Private 5G networks, including design, deployment, and integration with enterprise systems.
- Understanding of cellular standards (e.g., LTE, 5G NR) and security frameworks.
- Hands‑on experience supporting cellular networks in environments such as manufacturing, warehouses, offices, or retail.
- Basic proficiency in programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python) for network configuration and automation.
- Knowledge of enterprise network security protocols relevant to cellular technologies.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to team members and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel within the EMEA region for deployments or support activities.
- Certifications such as 5G‑specific credentials (e.g., from 3GPP or vendor‑specific programs) or general networking certs like CCNA.
- Experience with AI‑driven networking tools or platforms.
- Familiarity with edge computing in cellular network architectures.
- Experience with network automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
- Awareness of EMEA‑specific regulatory and compliance requirements for Private 5G deployments.
- Additional experience with WiFi technologies (e.g., Aruba or Juniper) or integration of WiFi enterprise networks.
