Project and Test Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders


• Develop project plans and manage project teams following agile methodologies


• Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members


• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders across multiple teams


• Track projects in Jira and manage documentation in Confluence


• Identify and mitigate risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle


• Provide regular updates and reports to leadership and stakeholders


• Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project timelines


• Coordinate and conduct functional, integration, regression, user acceptance (UAT), and performance testing activities


• Monitor test execution, log defects, and manage defect lifecycle to resolution


• Maintain test documentation and ensure traceability between requirements and test cases


• Promote best practices in quality assurance and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications

• Very strong ability to listen attentively, apply logic and reason, follow- through, can-do attitude, and exceptional communication skills both written and verbal


• Easy to work with


• Sense of urgency


• 3-5 years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in a test or QA management role


• Experience working with IT implementations


• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)


• Excellent organizational, and leadership skills


• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello, Jira)


• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines


• Willingness to take initiative and ownership of the projects


• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities


• Ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory; any other languages like German are a plus

Preferred Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred


• ISTQB or other QA certification is a plus


• Familiarity with automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines


• Experience with risk-based testing and test coverage metrics
