Project Developer

Project Developer | Wind Energy | Leipzig

Amber Renewables is supporting a renewable energy company in their search for an experienced Project Developer to join their team. In this role, you will take responsibility for driving wind energy projects from early site identification through to permitting and construction readiness.

The company offers a supportive, family-style office environment, professional but not overly corporate, where collaboration, trust, and autonomy are valued.

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying and evaluating suitable sites for wind projects in Germany
• Preparing layouts, technical analyses, and yield calculations
• Managing planning and permitting processes, including communication with authorities and stakeholders
• Coordinating internally and with external experts to progress projects efficiently

Your profile:

• Degree in geography, environmental sciences, engineering, planning, or similar
• At least 2–3 years’ experience in renewable energy project development or related fields
• Skilled in GIS/CAD and confident in technical assessments
• Strong communication skills and an independent, structured working style
• Driving licence (Class B) beneficial
