Role Summary
Lead the development, implementation, and ongoing improvement of a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) across development and production. Oversee certification processes, conduct internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as EN 9100, EN 9115, AQAP 2210, and AQAP 2310. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and act as the main point of contact for all quality‑related enquiries.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of a robust QMS for both development and production areas.
- Define and document key processes, ensuring compliance with standards and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Manage the full certification cycle, preparing for audits and ensuring adherence to required standards.
- Conduct internal and external audits, collaborating with third‑party bodies and developing action plans for any non‑compliance issues.
- Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management and keep documentation up to date.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and act as the main contact for all quality‑related inquiries.
Qualifications
- Strong background in quality management, having led the development and implementation of QMS in previous roles.
- In‑depth knowledge of EN 9100, EN 9115, AQAP 2210, AQAP 2310 and proven track record of ensuring compliance.
- Experience conducting internal and external audits and working with third‑party certification bodies.
- Effective communicator with stakeholder engagement experience, capable of integrating quality goals into organizational operations.
- Proactive leadership, excellent reporting and documentation skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.
- Fluent in German, enabling effective communication with German‑speaking auditors and customers.
- Ability to work independently, seeing the big picture and driving initiatives forward without constant guidance.
