Quantum Software Engineer

An innovative Quantum Computing start-up in Munich are looking to bolster their team with a dynamic Quantum Software Engineer.

Responsibilities:

• Develop software and automated tests to create new features and ensure quality.
• Collaborate effectively to share knowledge and work together in a fast-paced team.
• Integrate automated testing directly into continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Maintain clear documentation for all software throughout its development.
• Explore new technologies, with a specific focus on understanding quantum computing.

Requirements:

Experience & Skills: You have 1-3 years of professional software development experience, are proficient in Python, Rust, C++, C, or Java and experienced with Git and CI/CD workflows.
Education: You hold a Master’s or PhD in a relevant technical field.
Interests: You have a strong interest in physics and quantum computing and are eager to explore low-level or close-to-hardware software development.
Teamwork: You thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and have experience with agile frameworks like Scrum.
Language & Location: You are fluent in English and German (C1 level), have work authorisation for Germany or the EU.
