• Facilitate the development of Technical Purchase Specifications (TPS).
• Verify that external suppliers or contractors have robust Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and PTS in place.
• Develop the Bill of Materials (BoM) with specified quantities and detail the Electro Pneumatic Brake System (EPBS).
• Coordinate technical discussions with various stakeholders, including Authorities, Customers, Partners, Contractors, and Suppliers.
• Act as the liaison with functional designers to establish new interfaces.
• Prepare and review technical documentation in collaboration with Customers and Authorities.
• Collaborate with the Project Engineer, RAMS, Quality Assurance Engineer, Construction Manager, Commissioning Manager, and Supply Planner.
• Ensure that the technical solution is finalized and implemented in line with contractual requirements.
• Identify key technical risks, contribute to the development of the risk matrix, and enforce the project risk management strategy.
• Monitor project progress, resolve any non-conformities, and maintain high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
• Supply essential information to Engineering Team Managers for resource planning and escalate staffing needs when necessary.
• Assist the Principal Program Manager in promoting a strong safety culture and demonstrating effective safety leadership.
• Ensure adherence to legal, company, and client safety standards.
• Assess Work Package Plans (WPPs) to effectively manage critical and specific risks.
• Adhere to the Construction Phase Plan and comply with local safety regulations.
• Analyze technical and Health & Safety incidents from an engineering perspective.
• Engage in technical and design review meetings to oversee processes and resolve technical issues.
• Gather feedback from site activities and implement corrective actions to ensure project success through to final system acceptance.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Proficiency in English and German
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, supply chain, WPLs, and engineering teams
• Strong understanding of key German health and safety regulations impacting engineering systems and processes
• Ability to work effectively in multi-functional and international project environments
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
• Strong ability to interface with customers, stakeholders, and suppliers at all levels
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, set clear targets, and achieve deliverables
• Proactive and accountable, taking ownership of goals and objectives
• Comfortable working within a project/functional matrix organization
• Results-driven with a strong initiative and problem-solving mindset
• Highly motivated, organized, and detail-oriented
