What challenges can you expect?

Strategic Tasks:

• Serve as the explicit technical contact for sales within Automation.
• Develop necessary skills to reduce technical queries.
• Ensure the required quality of provided documentation and sales tools.
• Provide feedback on market perception and sales reality to business owners.

Operational Tasks:

• Ensure the sales teams' ability to act through operational sales support.
• Support the development of strategic end-user specifications.
• Advise sales/customers on all technical inquiries in the assigned product range, including analysis and coordination of technical requirements (on-site if necessary).
• Interpret, clarify, and implement customer specifications for offers and orders, considering the automation delivery spectrum. For customer-specific special designs, clarify technical feasibility and cost-effectiveness early by initiating applicable processes in coordination with order engineering (APS) in Regensburg.
• Supervise and implement customer projects.
• Support the OPP/OPS employee responsible for the customer, including independent execution of process steps, input of order-relevant data in SAP, technical and commercial review, and support of the customer order during processing, coordinating with order engineering (APS) in Regensburg if necessary.
• Assist in the technical development of solution concepts.

What do we expect from you?

• Engineer or technician with extensive experience in electrical engineering.
• Proven experience in the energy sector and automation.
• In-depth knowledge of OLTC technology and power transformers.
• Expert knowledge of AUTOMATION products, order processing tools, and customer order documentation.
• Full professional proficiency in English; additional language skills are desirable.
• Strong understanding of processes and systems.
• Sales and customer orientation.
• Excellent didactic skills and presentation techniques.
• Process-oriented and structured.
• Outgoing and helpful.
• Quality-conscious and responsible.
• Technical and analytical thinking, solution-oriented, and pragmatic.
