Section Head Implantation (m/f/d)

Workplace and working arrangements: The position is to be filled in Itzehoe on our development and production site for power MOS transistors with around 550 employees. Vishay is investing in Itzehoe in a new semiconductor chip factory with 300 mm technology, which will be ready for production starting in 2026. With this expansion, we are increasing our production capacities and creating 150 additional jobs.

Day shift (Monday to Friday) and the possibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

What you will do

Disciplinary responsibility for the team in the Implantation module (currently 4 people) with the perspective of 2 new Headcounts (with new fab)
Technical support and coordination of the module
Responsible for the implementation of tasks in the Implantation module
Development, optimization, and qualification of the module
Regular contacts with R&D Engineering
Definition of the control strategy for the process module (including SPC)
Hold training sessions

What you should bring

A master’s degree or higher qualification, in physics, Nanotechnology, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a comparable scientific field
Relevant experience in semiconductor physics
Initial leadership experience
Experience operating within a production environment
Experience in the field of semiconductor implant is an advantage
Knowledge of a programming language, SQL, and data analysis is an advantage
Excellent English and German, both written and spoken is a MUST
Independent working style, analytical thinking, and quality awareness round up your profile
