Security Consultant Fortinet (m/w/d)

Overview

Security Consultant Fortinet (m/w/d) at NTT DATA, Inc. Design and implement security solutions with focus on Fortinet technologies, Zero Trust, and SASE. Support customers through digital transformation and the project lifecycle from presales to implementation. Strong technical skills, project experience, and business understanding required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security solutions using Fortinet technologies.
• Combine high technical skill and project experience with customer business requirements in cybersecurity.
• Advise customers on strategic approaches (Zero Trust, SASE) based on leading vendors.
• Support the full project lifecycle from presales engagement to implementation; develop detailed concepts and innovative architectures.
• Advise in our portfolio and demonstrate solid knowledge in the following technologies: Advanced Firewall, SD-WAN / SSE, ZTNA, FortiSASE.

Qualifications

• Completed technical studies (e.g., computer science, engineering, electrical engineering) or a comparable technical education.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations and/or project environments in infrastructure security.
• Strong knowledge in design and implementation of security solutions.
• Structured approach with careful, precise and results-oriented work, especially in problem analysis and planning.
• Strong customer and service orientation with good communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional-level certification (at least one).
• Open to new topics and challenges.
• Cross-vendor know-how is required; additional certifications are desirable.
• Willingness to travel.
• Fluency in German and very good English written and spoken.
