At ABOUT YOU, the Exclusive Collections team develops limited capsule collections in close collaboration with celebrities, influencers, and creatives. Each collection captures the individual style of our partners while reflecting current cultural and fashion trends. Our creative team in Berlin leads the entire process from development to launch. Made up of experienced designers, apparel technicians, and buyers, the team closely monitors emerging trends and identifies potential bestsellers early on.

As a (Senior) Buyer (m/f/d) in our Exclusive Collections (Private Label) area, you are responsible for developing womenswear and menswear collections in collaboration with well‑known influencers from the fashion industry.

This is a fixed‑term maternity cover position starting on February 1st.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop seasonal collections in close collaboration with management and the brand building team
• Drive end‑to‑end product development and design together with different fashion influencers
• Oversee buying, production, and quality control processes
• Lead negotiations with international suppliers regarding pricing, specifications, quality standards, timelines, and deliveries
• Analyze product performance and identify opportunities for improvement and growth
• Ensure smooth workflows and continuously optimize processes
• Provide professional guidance to a small buying team

Requirements

• Degree in business administration, textile management, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in private label buying
• Background in fast fashion, young fashion, or commercial fashion brands
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, materials, and production quantities, with an excellent sense for trends, competition, and pricing strategies
• Really good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in English
