Senior Computer Vision Engineer - Robotics / LiDAR / C++

Senior Principal Consultant | Semiconductor, Embedded Systems, AI, Robotics and Machine Learning

We’re looking for a Senior Computer Vision Engineer to help develop advanced software powering next-generation robotic systems for a well established Robotics/AI organization in Munich.

You’ll design algorithms, integrate sensors, and turn complex vision workflows into elegant, scalable solutions.

What you’ll do:

• Develop and test C++ computer vision algorithms for calibration, tracking, and pose estimation
• Integrate RGB, depth, and LiDAR sensor data into robotic systems
• Visualize results and create intuitive interfaces for end users
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on motion planning, SDKs, and automation tools
• Lead vision-related projects and occasionally travel to support international customers

Your background:

• 3+ years’ experience in computer vision development
• 5+ years’ industrial software experience with C++
• Strong background in algorithm design and software architecture
• Experience with version control and agile workflows
• Fluent in English, based in or open to relocate to Munich
• Robotics or automation experience
• Exposure to ML-based vision methods
• Familiarity with hardware like grippers or AMRs
