Senior Java Developer – Integration Software & AI-Enabled Solutions - Karlsruhe - 90.000 EUR

We are partnering with an innovative software company in the DACH region that is developing next-generation platforms with a strong focus on Java-based backend development , data transformation , and AI-enabled tooling . The team is scaling and looking for a motivated Full Stack Java Developer to join their Agile engineering group.

What You’ll Do

Design and develop backend components for a domain-specific language used in data processing and integration.
Contribute to the extension of the runtime environment and development tools , including modules with AI support.
Participate in code reviews , ensure best practices, and drive sustainable, high-quality solutions .
Work in an Agile Scrum team.
Bring your ideas to the table and help shape components, interfaces, and processes.

What You Bring

3+ years’ experience in professional software development .
Strong knowledge of Java (backend focus).
Familiarity with SQL , XPath , or functional programming concepts (a plus, not required).
Experience with CI/CD, test automation, Git, Jenkins ; Maven and Gerrit are nice to have.
Passion for design patterns, clean code, and modern architectures .
Good English skills ; German is an advantage.
