What is your part in the success of Collins Foods?

As a Senior Project Manager Construction for the German market, you will be working on new challenges every day. In the role, you will be responsible for leading projects; new construction, renovation and construction-related projects in our KFC restaurants in Germany from A to Z.

Every 5 years, a KFC restaurant is renovated on a small scale and every 10 years a restaurant gets a bigger facelift. Your role is to lead the (re)construction, including and not limited to, analyzing tenders, checking accuracy of drawings, managing multiple stakeholders and executing the projects on time and to budget. You will align with the Construction Manager on the number of projects to complete across the year with differing projects from refurbishments of existing restaurants to bringing a new store to life.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will use your experience and drive to serve as an expert in building the department and standards in Germany.

Daily activities and responsibilities

• Drawing up the project schedule for the execution of the entire project including budgeting, in accordance with the drawings made by an architect
• Managing projects of more than 1 million euro’s
• Requesting quotations from suppliers and giving orders to the necessary suppliers
• Scheduling, chairing and making key decisions during construction project meetings.
• During the project, you monitor the progress of the work, both substantively and financially, and you keep all the balls in the air. In doing so, you have a grip on implementation, planning and finances and you identify and analyze risks and ensure their management.
• You ensure good communication so that all stakeholders are always aware of the current status.
• You will work closely with your colleagues from other departments, such as Operations, Facilities and IT. Collaboratively making their requirements and wishes become a reality.
• You work towards a delivery and then ensure that all remaining points are solved and you complete a project both substantively and financially.

Qualifications

• A completed education in architecture, project management or another relevant field
• You have more than 5 years of experience in managing (technical) projects, preferably within Retail or (fast) food environment
• Excellent project management skills. You keep an overview and leave the details to others with peace of mind.
• Good knowledge of the German and English language verbally and in writing.
