Senior Sales Manager – Germany Industry (m/f/d)

An exceptional opportunity to lead industrial customer sales across Germany for a high‑performance global analytical instrumentation & technology company that protects water quality around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Manage sales managers for the industrial market in Germany: plan, achieve, and exceed set sales targets while ensuring growth acceleration.
  • Lead and develop the industrial sales structure with 5 direct report Sales Managers who manage approximately 25 associates.
  • Collaborate with the sales management team to develop business opportunities, including projects & E&C, business development, key accounts, and sales enablement.
  • Develop, implement, and sustain a solid action plan that consolidates the regional strategy and delivers expected results.
  • Acquire new customers, build strategic new business, and secure existing customers.
  • Provide weekly & monthly forecasts for the business in Germany and actively contribute to the annual strategic budget planning process.

Essential Requirements

  • More than 3 years of experience leading a frontline national B2B field sales group of >10, ideally including managers/team leaders. Water industry exposure or process/lab analytical equipment sales experience is useful but not critical.
  • More than 10 years of overall commercial experience with a business, engineering, or chemical background.
  • Experience working in a highly professional/large multinational company environment, with KPIs, structured processes and systems (Salesforce etc).
  • Strategic ability to analyze markets with a mindset to identify root causes and areas for improvement.
  • Willingness to travel at least 30% of the time.
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent German and very good English.
