Job Highlights

• Hourly Rate: USD 13
• Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours
• Schedule: Mainly Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM AWST (flexible hours)
• Client Time Zone: Sydney, Australia (AEST/AEDT)
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor
• Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide technical guidance to a team of software development interns
• Oversee relationships with outsourced development suppliers and ensure deliverable quality
• Provide technical leadership and advice on software architecture and development decisions
• Lead migration from Microsoft-centric environment to Google ecosystem including Firebase
• Coordinate product launch technical requirements and timelines
• Assess and implement security measures for healthcare SaaS products
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions for development challenges
• Bridge communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Strong experience in software development and project management
• Proficiency in Figma, React, Unity, C++, C#, and Python
• Experience with Google ecosystem and Firebase migration
• Healthcare SaaS industry experience strongly preferred
• Proven ability to manage development teams and vendor relationships
• Strong understanding of software security principles, especially for healthcare applications
• Excellent communication skills for working with non-technical founders
• Experience managing technical projects in startup environments
