What you'll do

In one of our agile and cross-functional teams you will proactively engage in quality assurance activities during the whole Software Development Life Cycle.
You will work closely together with your team-mates, e.g. Developers, DevOps, Architect, and Product Owner.
You are responsible to design, plan, implement, execute and document your tests (manual and automatic) and evaluate the test results.
You will drive the existing test automation framework on an operational as well as development level to ensure defined quality requirements and standards.
You will contribute to improve our test processes and tools, as well as the test automation strategy.
You will participate in cross-product initiatives to support company-wide best practices, such as CI/CD integration, test automation, or monitoring/analysis.

What you'll need

You have a university degree in Computer Engineering/Science or equivalent education, career changers with passion for IT are also welcome.
You have 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable position.
You have sound experience in manual as well as automatic testing of backend applications considering functional as well as non-functional requirements.
You have a strong commitment to automatic testing.
You have hands-on experience with at least three of the following technologies/tools:

• API-Testing with Frameworks like ReadyAPI
• Scripting/development with Python
• Database management systems (SQL) and queuing systems (e.g. Kafka)
• JIRA, Confluence, XRay, Git
• JMeter for Performance and Load testing

You love to collaborate with team-mates and other colleagues to provide a software product at its best.
You love to look beyond the box to create intelligent ideas for efficient testing.
You are used to communicate in English on a professional level. German is a plus.
