We, the BMW Group, offer an advantageous working student or internship that enables the selected candidate to engage with state-of-the-art Linux security technologies. Working as part of the security team responsible for the protection of automotive head units. You will primarily introduce new security features to our projects, enhance current build systems and develop programs for managing various services.
What awaits you?
   Be part of the development team responsible for the deployment of advanced security technologies in next-generation BMW head units.
   Dive deep into modern Linux security topics (e.g. SELinux, namespaces, CFI, secure boot, dm-verity and cryptography).
   Garner invaluable experience on Android security and hypervisor technologies.
   Develop impactful and novel security features for projects relating to automotive head units.
What should you bring along?
   A solid interest with basic understanding of IT security technologies.
   Proficient programming skills concerning C/C++ and Python.
   A basic understanding of Linux and its internals.
