Key Responsibilities

• Oversee LAN/WAN network operations by leveraging advanced knowledge of routing, switching, and network monitoring tools such as Cisco IOS, Juniper Junos, and SolarWinds, ensuring high availability and optimal performance
• Lead root cause analysis and resolution of complex network incidents using packet analyzers like Wireshark and network management platforms to minimize downtime and service impact
• Implement and optimize network policies and security protocols utilizing firewalls (e.g., Cisco ASA, Palo Alto) and network access controls to safeguard data integrity and compliance
• Drive process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives in network operations through automation tools such as Ansible and Python scripting, enhancing operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
• Mentor and empower network support teams by sharing expert knowledge in LAN/WAN technologies, ensuring skill development, transparent communication, and alignment with project goals

Requirements

• Advanced expertise in Cisco and Juniper Network Devices and protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLANS)
• Excellent command of network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, SNMP)
• Advanced knowledge of network security principles, including firewall configuration and VPN technologies
• Strong skills in process optimization, automation (Python, Ansible), and Network documentation
• Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities, with a focus on team empowerment and operational excellence

Certifications

• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or Juniper Networks Certified Specialist (JNCIS) certification required
• ITIL Foundation certification is optional but valuable
