Position Overview

Role: UI/UX Lead/Art Director
Location: Leipzig (hybrid; on‑site presence required)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Languages: German C2, English (B2/C1)
Seniority: Mid–Senior
Employment Type: Full‑time

Your Role & Responsibilities

As Lead, you will take ownership of the company’s visual identity and creative strategy, ensuring consistent, accessible, and user‑centric design across all touchpoints.

  • Define and evolve the overarching creative vision and brand direction
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary design team (Graphic, Motion, UX/UI)
  • Oversee the creation of design assets for digital products, websites, marketing, and campaigns
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Development, Marketing, and other teams

What You Bring

Must‑Haves:

  • 7+ years of experience in Art Direction, UX/UI leadership, or similar creative roles
  • Proven leadership in digital design environments
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, accessibility guidelines, and design systems
  • Experience defining brand direction and running end‑to‑end creative processes
  • Confident working with data and performance insights

Nice‑to‑Haves:

  • Experience in Motion Design
  • Background in SaaS or digital accessibility tech

Education & Tools

Strong experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Trello/Asana

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: €45,000–€50,000 gross per year
  • Vacation Days: 31
  • Working Hours: Full‑time (40h/week)
  • Hybrid Work: 1–2 home office days per week
