Overview

Responsibilities

• Create automated tests that regularly verify the correct functionality of both newly implemented and existing software according to the provided requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Automatically tested software is provisioned in a multi-week sprint rhythm by developers. This provisioned software is fully implemented and successfully manually tested, possibly already deployed to production.
• In addition to creating automated tests, regression, system, end-to-end and exploratory tests must be created, adapted or executed. All tests must be monitored, logged and any discovered software defects documented.
• Integrate all components and emulators into the test software for a maximum possible degree of test automation.
• Subject components and interfaces must undergo extensive load and performance tests to ensure their correct function and interaction even under maximum load.
• Support the team in creating test cases and performing manual tests. Requirements and acceptance criteria are provided in the form of user stories in German language.
• Technologies used in the project: automated regression tests implementation using Tricentis Tosca Version for: Android Apps (Kotlin), Frontend (Angular from version 16 and ngrx), Backend (Java from version 17 / MQTT / Postgres database), End-to-end tests.
• Conduct load and performance tests.
• Synchronize information between Jira and Tosca (User Stories, acceptance criteria).
• Configure / evaluate Tosca and connect to Jira and Jenkins.
• Document bugs in Jira.
