Job Description
- Experience research : Functional operation and optimization of state-of-the-art MEMS characterization setups, stress-test equipment and precision instruments
- Reliable work : Execution of predefined electrical, mechanical and/or optical measurements on MEMS devices
- Keep the overview : Interface of laboratory equipment with controlling software
- Documentation : Post-processing and documentation of experimental results using available frameworks
- Data : Analysis of acquired data
- Shape the future : Exploring new ideas and innovative approaches of advance MEMS testing to enhance quality and reliability of MEMS technologies
Your Profile
- Study field : Currently studying Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Engineering or a related field of study
- Experience : Hands-on lab experience in a research or technology chair, R&D department, or through study and course projects
- Tool experience : Understanding about MEMS devices and/or have experience with optics and optical equipment, or probe testing units
- Insterests : Passionate about tackling multidisciplinary challenges that involve electronics, optics, measurements, analysis
- Programming : Familiarity with programming languages such as Matlab and Python, or willing to learn new tools
- Way of work : Systematic and self-driven working style, oriented on problem solving and willingness to learn and enjoy working in a team
- Language skills : Good German and English skills in speaking and writing

Important information:
- Working part-time : The focus is on studies. Therefore, working student is possible during the lecture period with a maximum of 20 hours per week.
- Proper students (according to the German law) are welcome : You must be enrolled and the examination results or modules of your studies must not have been completed yet, so that you can still work in our team for at least 1 year. You must also not be in a semester of leave.
- You should live close to the site : It is important for us to work with you on site and to integrate you into the team. You should therefore be able to come to the site regularly.
