Country Manager, Germany

Join Draivi as a Country Manager in Germany. This strategic leadership role has full P&L ownership and reports directly to the CEO. You’ll be based in Germany, working closely with the German‑speaking HQ team in Helsinki and visiting Finland a few times a year.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of the business performance in Germany, including P&L responsibility and growth strategy.
  • Lead operations in Germany with support from a dedicated 3‑person team in Helsinki (2 marketing specialists, 1 partner manager). Build local partnerships and market presence while leveraging centralized expertise. Budget authority to expand the team as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners (brokers, affiliates and other financial institutions).
  • Identify new business opportunities, verticals and partnerships to drive market growth.
  • Analyze performance metrics, market trends and competitor activities to make data‑driven decisions.
  • Establish groundwork for a local entity: evaluate and prepare for local company formation, potential licensing needs and long‑term compliance structures.
  • Represent Draivi as a senior leader and brand ambassador in the German market.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in country management or a senior commercial leadership role.
  • Strong existing network in the German fintech, lending or digital finance ecosystem (preferred).
  • Excellent negotiation, partnership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a track record of data‑driven growth.
  • Entrepreneurial, ambitious and capable of operating independently with full accountability.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Background in performance marketing, digital media or financial services is highly valued.
