Are you looking for the opportunity to join a well-established maritime engineering manufacturer that has been operating for almost 100 years?

Do you have expert experience in Electrical Power Engineering with strong knowledge of power grids and drive systems up to 1000v?

I am currently representing a family-owned leader in maritime automation and sensor technology used in shipbuilding and transport. They deliver full propulsion and automation solutions including design, engineering, commissioning and long-term service. They have a passionate team and are committed to supporting innovation to remain a leader in their field.

In this position, you will work as a key technical expert within their Engineering Department, contributing directly to the development of energy systems for marine applications. You will design and integrate AC/DC power grids , convertors and control systems, ensuring efficient system performance across a range of marine vessels.

The Role

• Design and integration of electrical control systems and convertors
• AC/DC grid design and calculations up to 600A
• Development of system layouts and technical concepts for marine automation
• Power grid division, filtering and system optimisation
• Cross‑departmental coordination and system integration
• Supporting innovation across ongoing projects

The Candidate

• Expert knowledge in Electrical Power Engineering
• Experience with power generation and distribution systems up to 1000v
• Strong understanding of electrical drive systems & AC/DC convertors
• Fluent English (German advantageous but not essential)
• Team player with long‑term career motivation
