The Cell Manufacturing Engineering team at Tesla is looking for a highly motivated Equipment Engineer to contribute to the development and improving of cell manufacturing equipment and processes for our cutting‑edge Tesla Energy Batteries Cells. The Cell is one of the most complex and challenging components designed and manufactured at Tesla. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to Tesla’s world class manufacturing facilities.

What You’ll Do

• Ensuring smooth production operation of the manufacturing equipment for a specific production segment; conveyance, stacking, lifting and unpacking/repacking of product
• Responsible for the optimization of the efficiency as well as performance level: focus on availability and performance
• Monitoring and continuous optimization of processes
• Responsible for troubleshooting, machine repairs and sustainable problem solving
• Coordination with other process, maintenance, manufacturing facilities, mechanical, electrical and support disciplines
• Participate in on‑field construction and commissioning activities by supporting manufacturing engineering team
• Project management for the optimization of production processes and production facilities
