Finance and Administration Manager (m/f/d) Noordwijk aan Zee (NL)

European Test Services (ETS) B.V. – an AIRBUS and IABG joint venture – serves as the driving force behind the operations and maintenance of the prestigious European Space Agency (ESA) test centre, located in the Netherlands. ETS is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance and Administration Manager , responsible for the accounting, controlling, procurement, and administration operations of ETS. As a key member of our team, you will report directly to the ETS Managing Director, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of the administration team’s tasks and processes.

1. Leading the administration and procurement team of ETS
2. Conducting the company's accounting, controlling, and invoicing functions, including the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, as well as the preparation of annual accounts
3. Supporting the Managing Director in the preparation of financial reports and strategic financial forecasts to be presented to the supervisory board
4. Primarily responsible for ensuring compliance with fiscal requirements in The Netherlands and acting as the main contact for tax advisors, financial auditors, and fiscal authorities
5. Supporting proposal preparation and contract negotiations regarding financial aspects
6. Responsible for the purchase, procurement, and supplier management processes, and providing support to procurement tasks and supplier evaluation tasks performed by the procurement team
7. Responsible for administrative processes including supporting software (Exact, Synergy)
8. Acting as the focal point for GDPR, company insurances, EU export control, and customs
9. Qualifications: Degree in business administration or equivalent
10. Expert knowledge in accounting and controlling, with a minimum of 5 years' experience with Exact/Synergy platform
11. Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
12. A proactive and communicative approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines
13. Effective organizational skills and the ability to maintain precision, ensuring prompt submission of inputs from team members and stakeholders for financial accounts and liquidity forecasts
14. Team leadership experience is an asset
15. Dutch language skills are an asset

Additional responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring accurate financial forecasts and the timely, correct delivery of yearly financial statements
2. Managing and coordinating the tasks of the administration and procurement teams to ensure seamless and timely execution of all tasks
