Intern Rubber Technology (m/f/x)

What you will do

• You will co‑develop innovative and sustainable adhesive components that include natural and synthetic rubbers, resins, and the polymerization of polyurethane polymers, formulations, and coatings with solvent‑based and hot‑melt technologies.
• You will test laboratory adhesive samples and prototypes using various chemical and physical measurement methods (adhesion, cohesion, tackiness, tensile testing, etc.).
• You will assist with customer‑specific application tests. You will document, interpret, and discuss the results of your developments in an appropriate form with the project teams.

What you will need

• You are an enrolled student, ideally in the field of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and can provide an overview of your university grades.
• You have experience in the laboratory, particularly with polymer synthesis, formulation, and analytical testing.
• You possess confident English language skills; German skills are advantageous.
• You act with initiative, take responsibility, and show flexibility.
• You have knowledge of MS Office software such as Excel, Outlook and Teams.
• You demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• You are available for six months starting August 1st, 2026.
