Key Accountabilities

Take responsibility for the delivery of software projects or workstreams within a larger project.
Accountable for the successful delivery to cost, specification and time for a defined package of work.
Establish, develop and maintain the documentation necessary to deliver the package of work.
Provide information necessary to make management decisions to the key stakeholders.
Act as the focal point for all aspects related to the packages of work.
Ensure the creation and management of an integrated set of plans / schedules. Organize and chair schedule review meetings and report areas where executive decisions need to be made.
Develop / implement Project Management best practice in line with company management processes.
Provision of basic guidance to others regarding the Project Management processes and the operation of the project management systems / tools / methods.
Support regular internal and customers programme reviews related to the package owned.

Qualifications And Skills

Degree-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent qualification. Alternatively, a Business degree can also be considered.
Qualified to IPMA Level D or equivalent knowledge and experience in project management.
Experience in project management of high-integrity software is an advantage.
The role will require an individual blend of analytical, interpersonal, presentation, negotiation and project management skills.
Good general IT skills with knowledge of project management tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel) is an advantage.
Working with remote teams.
Fluent written and spoken English.
Willingness for regular international travel.
