Our central technology team specialising in new technologies (AI, Generative AI, Generative Design) designs strategic innovation projects along the entire development process. We are responsible for identifying, industrialising and scaling new technologies in real use cases. Our team of data scientists, engineers and business analysts combines openness, a pioneering spirit and the power of implementation.

• You will independently identify, evaluate and manage projects in the field of artificial intelligence.
• You will design, implement and operationalise AI-supported solutions to increase efficiency, quality and innovation.
• You will develop general and scalable AI modules for the efficient industrialisation of customer projects.
• Your focus is on the application and further development of algorithms, visualising technologies and generative AI concepts.
• You inspire and enable stakeholders to recognise and implement their own technology potential.
• You will work closely with BMW's internal IT units, specialist departments and cross-functional partners.
• You will support the evaluation of new technologies and contribute your own ideas to the technology roadmap.

• Master's degree or doctorate in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or comparable qualification.
• Proven experience in the practical implementation of new technologies such as AI, NLP, computer vision, GenAI or autonomous agents.
• Sound expertise in the application and development of modern algorithms.
• In-depth methodological knowledge in at least one of these fields: Computer Vision, NLP or Generative AI.
• Very good knowledge of Python and sound skills in Java or C++.
• Strong communication skills and strong initiative.
• Business fluent in English, good knowledge of German is an advantage.
