We’re building AI-powered tools that help European SMBs manage critical business processes. Our platform automates account receivables and complex financial workflows like self-billed invoices, reconciliation, ERP integrations and payment matching. We’re backed by top venture capital firms from the US and Europe and led by experienced founders and operators from the fintech and SaaS space.

Now, we’re looking for a Senior ERP Consultant who can own the bridge between customers, their ERP systems, and our product, shaping how Donnerstag.ai is implemented, integrated, and scaled across Europe.

The Role

This is not a classic ERP consultant role. It’s a hybrid position at the intersection of integration, process consulting, and pre-sales .

You’ll work directly with the founders, product, and engineering teams to design and implement scalable integrations with ERP, TMS, WMS, and accounting systems. You’ll own customer onboarding end-to-end — from discovery to go-live — and become the trusted advisor for CFOs, Finance Teams, and Operations leaders. It’s hands‑on, technical, process‑driven, and plays a key role in how we enter and scale across midmarket customers.

What you’ll do

• Lead discovery sessions to understand customer processes (Finance, Logistics, AP/AR, OPOS)
• Design ERP/TMS integration flows and map business processes to Donnerstag.ai
• Run pre‑sales sessions including solution design, demos, and scoping
• Own integration projects with systems
• Configure workflows, automation rules, matching logic, and data models
• Coordinate across Product & Engineering to ensure smooth delivery
• Translate customer requirements into clear product input
• Troubleshoot API, data, and document‑processing issues together with engineering
• Train key users and finance teams on best practices and automations
• Build long‑term customer relationships and identify upsell opportunities
• Help develop our integration templates, playbooks, and implementation methodology

What you bring

• 5 years experience in ERP consulting, business software implementation, finance operations, or integration projects
• Strong understanding of finance and operations processes: AR, AP, GL, OPOS, controlling, logistics, or service workflows
• Practical experience with at least one major ERP
• Hands‑on experience with API integrations, data mapping, or process automation
• Excellent communication skills — you can translate complexity into clarity
• Strong ownership mindset and the ability to run customer projects end‑to‑end
• Fluent in German and English (required)
• Curiosity for financial automation, reconciliation workflows, and AI‑driven tooling
