Job Overview
The Senior Finance and Membership Records Manager helps safeguard sacred funds and membership records, supporting the mission of the Church. This role leads a dedicated team, oversees financial and membership data analysis, and ensures compliance and accountability across the area.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a finance and records team, fostering a culture of accountability and service.
Perform in-depth analysis of financial and membership data, ensuring rapid identification and resolution of issues.
Oversee compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting, protecting sacred resources and organizational credibility.
Drive process improvements and efficiency by leveraging AI and data analytics tools.
Communicate clearly and concisely with senior Church leadership and stakeholders, providing actionable insights.

Qualifications

Professional Finance background (qualified accountant, ideally the German Bilanzbuchhalter), bachelor’s degree majoring in Finance/Accounting or equivalent certification with over 10 years of relevant experience.
Deep analytical skills and proven experience in commercial finance, risk management, and process optimization.
Leadership experience in managing, coaching, and transforming teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Excel & PowerBI) and ERP systems (Oracle) with an openness to new technologies, such as AI models.
Strong emotional intelligence, integrity, and commitment to the mission and values of the Church.
Advanced English level required; other European language, including German, would be an advantage.
