Senior Legal Counsel Real Estate (m/f/d)

Our Legal Department provides strategic legal support across all FlixTrain business areas, with a strong focus on commercial, regulatory, and real estate matters. In this role, you will drive the legal aspects of major infrastructure and expansion projects, ensuring FlixTrain’s sustainable and compliant growth. To achieve this, you’ll collaborate through digital tools and cross-functional platforms with our international legal and business teams. About The Role Independently manage legal matters for complex real estate and infrastructure projects (asset management, real estate development, maintenance, financing)Provide comprehensive legal support for FlixTrain’s expansion and operations, ensuring compliance with corporate, real estate, and rail regulatory requirementsActively steer multidisciplinary project processes touching finance, corporate, and regulatory areasDraft, review, and negotiate complex contracts while protecting the company’s strategic and commercial interestsAdvise senior management on legal implications of strategic decisionsCommunicate directly with business partners, regulatory authorities, and external counselCollaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments and external advisors to ensure efficient and effective legal execution About You Fully qualified lawyer (Zweites Staatsexamen / admitted to the bar)At least 5 years of professional experience in a law firm and/or an in-house legal departmentProven expertise in real estate, infrastructure, or asset financing projects - ideally within transportation or railway sectorsStrong analytical and commercial mindset with the ability to handle complex legal and commercial structuresExcellent negotiation and contract drafting skills with solid project management experienceFluent in English and German (both written and spoken) We recognize that everyone carries a unique set of valuable skills and experiences.
