Visiting Analyst - Venture Capital (Summer 2025)

Capmont Technology is a venture capital investor with a focus on both Industrial Tech & Enterprise Software. Founded in 2016, Capmont Technology is investing in early-growth phases and a strong emphasis on technologies with an already proven ‚economic equation‘. With a team consisting of former founders, engineers and operations, Capmont Technology supports its portfolio companies with financial resources, strategic support, as well as access to an international network.

We’re looking for someone who’s excited about making a difference and loves digging into problems with a sharp, analytical mind. You enjoy fast-moving environments where every day brings something new. Maybe you’ve picked up some experience already—whether that’s in investing, consulting, start-ups, industry, or the nonprofit world—or maybe not yet, but you’ve got the drive and passion to jump in and learn. This internship isn’t about ticking boxes on a résumé. What really matters is who you are, what motivates you, and whether you share our passion for impact and entrepreneurship.

Responsibilities

• Working on deals with the investment team and taking responsibility for sourcing, initial deal assessments, preparing investment decisions and subsequent due diligences
• Developing your own industry expertise through deep dives, while providing the Investment team with extensive insights
• Actively expanding your network in the European venture capital ecosystem including startups, founders, investors, entrepreneurs
• Supporting the investment team in all aspects of creating value for our portfolio companies and investors

Qualifications

• Academic studies (completed Bachelor's degree & possibly a Master's degree or more!) with very strong grades
• Analytical rigor, business acumen, project management, relationship-building, and emotional intelligence skills
• Passion and interest for the European startup ecosystem and a growing understanding of the venture capital industry
• Curiosity, team-player, open-mindedness, global mindset and networking skills
• The ability to work with us full-time for ideally 6 months in the heart of Munich
