It was founded in Bremen in 1919 as an association of 22 hardware retailers who wanted to achieve favourable conditions through joint purchasing. Today, NORDWEST Handel AG offers its 1,240 specialised trade partners comprehensive services in the areas of IT, finance, logistics, marketing and sales in addition to the procurement of goods on a solid economic basis.
