About the Role

Are you an experienced Embedded Electronics Engineer with a passion for innovation and technical excellence? We are looking for a talented individual to join our multidisciplinary team developing advanced subsea technology solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both hardware and embedded firmware design and a passion for creating robust systems that operate reliably in challenging underwater environments.

Key Responsibilities

Design and layout of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) using Altium Designer .
Perform simulation and analysis of electronic schematics using PSPICE .
Develop detailed electronic system specifications and contribute to technical documentation.
Design analogue and digital circuits tailored to subsea instrumentation and communication systems.
Develop, test, and debug embedded firmware using C++ , with an emphasis on real-time performance and reliability.
Work with STM32 microcontrollers and associated development tools.
Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, software, and systems engineers to deliver integrated subsea solutions.
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting of electronics under simulated and real subsea conditions.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
Strong experience in PCB design and layout using Altium Designer.
Proficiency with PSPICE or equivalent tools for circuit simulation.
Solid background in both analogue and digital circuit design.
Proven experience in embedded C++ development for microcontroller-based systems.
Familiarity with STM32 microcontrollers and ARM Cortex-M architectures.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and debugging tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Experience with environmental testing (pressure, temperature, vibration) for subsea electronics.
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN).
Familiarity with low-power and high-reliability design considerations.
Background in subsea or harsh environment product development.
