Classification: Analysis and its Applications
A PhD position is available within the Spanish-German research project "Nonlocal Gradients in Variational Analysis and Materials Modelling: Limits, Kernels, Boundaries", funded by AEI and DFG. The project objective is to develop theoretical foundations of nonlocal hyperelasticity, with a focus on the mathematical understanding of nonlocal gradients. The successful candidate will be based at KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, working under the supervision of Prof. Carolin Kreisbeck. The intended starting date is March 2025 or as soon as possible thereafter.
