Project Description
We’re seeking a skilled developer to create high-quality, ultra-high-resolution 3D animations of single words and phrases.
Each should be transformed into captivating short video clips (e.g., 7-second looping animations). The animations will feature dynamic effects like vibrations, color gradients, sparkling/scintillating visuals, lighting with shadows, and synchronized audio tracks that evolve to match the animation’s energy.
As an example, an animation for the 8-letter word “ENERVATE” (which means “to weaken, to diminish”):
- Each letter is 3D, hovering over a white background with top-left lighting casting bottom-right shadows.
- The first letter vibrates intensely with sparkling, vibrant colors and an energetic sound.
- Subsequent letters progressively lose energy: less vibration, dimmer colors, transitioning to a dull grey, motionless final letter.
- Audio seamlessly shifts from shimmering synth tones to a low hum.
- Output as a repeating 7-second cycle in MP4 or web-friendly format (e.g., via Three.js for interactive versions or Blender for rendered videos).
This is the start of an ongoing project with a constant stream of new words, each with unique animation styles (e.g., different effects, themes, durations, or interactions). Expect regular assignments—20 new words per month—as we expand our library of animated content for educational, marketing, and artistic purposes.
Proposal Requirements
In your proposal, please include:
- Your relevant experience and a link to your portfolio.
- Price per “word-film” (i.e., per complete animation of one word, including video output and source files).
- Estimated delivery time for the initial animation (ENERVATE) and typical turnaround for subsequent ones.
- Any questions about the project or suggestions for tools/approaches.
NOTE: We are open to a range of workflows — from traditional AE/Blender builds to AI-assisted pipelines (Runway, Pika, Kaiber, etc.). As said, please indicate your per-word rate (whether fixed or tiered by complexity) and your average turnaround time. For context: our first experimental AI-assisted render was produced in ~10 seconds, but we need higher quality and consistency.”
