JBO Engineering Group GmbH is a family-owned company with over 60 years of experience in structural design, civil engineering, and structural integrity assessments for complex buildings and engineering structures. For over 15 years, we have also been successfully active in the offshore wind sector, with a focus on structural design, loads, research, and technical inspections.

Your Responsibilities

• Creating 3D models using modern 3D design software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor).
• Creating bills of materials (BOMs), quantity surveys, as well as technical descriptions and specifications.
• Coordinating with structural engineers and design engineers.
• Drafting of general arrangement, detailed, and structural steel drawings for challenging offshore projects.
• Creating general arrangement and detailed drawings.
• Collaborating on architectural plans in close coordination with our engineering department.
• Creating technical documentation.

What you should bring with you

• A completed vocational training as a designer or drafter with a background in structural steel, or a degree in civil engineering (preferably with a specialization in structural and civil engineering, or steel construction).
• Recent graduates and entry-level professionals are also very welcome.
• A passion for teamwork and the use of modern software.
