If that excites you, how about joining our European Sales team as an Account Executive? Reporting to Head of Sales, Europe West & South, you will be a part of a fast-growing business that is challenging the market and doing things differently.
This is initially a fully remote position, but we are specifically seeking someone based in France to help us build strong local foundations and ensure future growth in the region.
The Account Executive role is responsible for originating sustainable new business opportunities and large complex client prospects for ClearBank in France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Mediterranean countries.
Your role includes:
Creating, executing and reporting a targeted sales campaign in the Large Client segment
Offering unique perspectives to potential clients that challenges the way they view their business to create momentum for the prospect to shift to ClearBank
Managing a large pipeline of deals, ensuring continuous progress whilst simultaneously maintaining accurate deal reporting & metrics
Engaging with clients across numerous roles and degrees of seniority throughout the sales process
Representing the client when required for internal engagements where the voice of the customer is required
Liaising with departments across ClearBank and with the client to resolve all client queries throughout the sales process
What you’ll bring:
To excel in this role, you’ll also need:
Relevant experience from Fintech and/or Banking sectors and interest in being on the forefront of a rapidly evolving industry and company
Excellent communication skills and be able to demonstrate effective listening, questioning and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor information to your audience and take complex topics and simplify them so they are easy to understand
Ability to quickly build robust relationships with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation and to be at ease meeting senior C-level executives
Highly self-motivated and driven with a willingness to challenge yourself and step outside your comfort zone. We need people with enthusiasm to help us disrupt the banking landscape
Willingness to learn and continually invest in yourself to improve your professional skills, standards, and abilities and strive for excellence
A problem solver in real-time and able to think on your feet as needed without getting flustered
Ability to prioritize effectively, staying focused on the highest value deliverables
Excellent English and French skills. Fluency in another European language (such as Portuguese, Italian or Spanish languages) is a plus.

Our hiring process and what you can expect:
Application: a member of our talent acquisition team will review your application against the key requirements for the role and let you know within two weeks whether you’re moving forward to the next stage;
Screening: You’ll spend 30-45 minutes speaking to one of our recruiters learning more about the role and ClearBank, and we’ll get it know more about you, your experience and how your skills align with the role (this will be via phone or Teams video call). You can expect to hear back from us within seven days following this meeting (if things are taking longer than expected, we’ll let you know that too);
First Interview: You’ll spend one hour with a member of our hiring team focusing on your skills, competencies and your ways of working at the same time we’ll give you time to ask more questions about the role, the team and learn more about the ClearBank culture. This will be via Teams.
Second Interview: This will be a competency-based interview with one or more members of our team.
Final Stage: You will have a final meeting with the Head of Department. This will be around 45-60 minutes.
