This position is available immediately at our location in Frankfurt a.M. (Neu-Isenburg) or Nuremberg.


Responsibilities

• General Ledger and Month-End Close Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure timely month-end close.


• Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and management reports (HGB/IFRS). Support the Finance Director with internal and external reporting.


• Fixed Assets and Capex Accounting Record and reconcile depreciation, additions, and disposals. Administer and report on capex projects and reconcile with the general ledger.


• Accounts Payable / Receivable Oversight Review postings from SSC and ensure correct accounting treatment.


• Cash Flow Management / Intercompany Administer and reconcile intercompany transactions. Support preparation of cash flow reports.


• Tax & Compliance Administration of VAT returns and support tax compliance processes. Ensure adherence to internal controls and statutory requirements.


• Audit Support internal and external audits and prepare required documentation.


• Process Improvements Contribute to improvements in accounting processes, reporting, and systems.


• Development towards Controlling (growth opportunity) Provide accounting input to budgeting and forecasting processes. Gradually develop skills in variance analysis and management reporting in collaboration with the Finance Director.


• Collaboration Liaise with SSC and other departments as needed to ensure accurate accounting.


Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration; Bilanzbuchhalter (IHK) qualification an advantage.


• Solid foundation in accounting and financial reporting.


• Experience with general ledger, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations.


• Knowledge of HGB/IFRS and tax/VAT requirements.


• Strong MS Excel skills; ERP experience desirable.


• Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.


• Very good to Fluent in English and German


• Team player with a collaborative and results-oriented mindset.


• Motivation to develop into Controlling / Business Partnering responsibilities over time.
