Accountant – Manufacturing Sector (m/f/d)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Eberswalde. If you’re fluent in German and have a solid understanding of HGB accounting principles, this is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to an international team with long-term stability and excellent benefits.


Responsibilities
• Review and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and compliance.
• Perform manual and automated ledger postings, including fixed asset entries.
• Record bank transactions, grants, and other relevant financial operations.
• Manage travel expense reports and credit card reconciliations.
• Post outgoing invoices related to other operating income.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly closings and year-end financial statements.
• Prepare statistical reports and support internal reporting requirements.
• Analyze management costs and outgoing payments for reporting purposes.


Required Skills
• Completed university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an accountant - ideally in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of German GAAP (HGB).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with MS Dynamics is a plus.
• Fluent in German; English proficiency (B2+) required.
• Knowledge of Polish, Ukrainian, or Russian is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and a structured, proactive approach to finance operations.
