Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead the accounting and finance transformation across Axon’s German subsidiaries. The role will shape the financial landscape of manufacturing, supply chain, and intercompany flows, ensuring accurate month‑end close processes and supporting global accounting and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Support growth strategy and global delivery model, contributing to the set‑up of manufacturing in German production facilities, including inventory accounting and cost centre structures.
• Execute the month‑end close process according to US‑GAAP, delivering timely and accurate financial close, processing journal entries and reconciliations, and reviewing customer contracts.
• Develop and execute monthly analytics to compare budget vs. actuals, driving working‑capital improvement initiatives.
• Prepare local GAAP financial statements, including notes and management reports.
• Support implementation and execution of robust SOX controls and adequate process and control documentation.
• Establish and monitor inventory accounting and control procedures, including physical inventory counts and valuation across Germany.
• Build collaborative relationships with local authorities and support audits.
• Support tax reporting in collaboration with Axon’s global tax team, implementing transfer pricing policy.
• Execute strategy to in‑source critical accounting activities currently delivered through external firms.
• Spearhead the creation of statutory ledger reporting in Axon’s global ERP (Microsoft D365) for Germany.
• Spearhead ERP transition of recently acquired Dedrone GmbH from Oracle NetSuite to Microsoft D365.
• Support execution of mergers between German entities, focusing on process and system integration.
• Support global improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and controllership in finance and accounting processes.

Preferred Experience

• 10+ years of overall accounting experience in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in accounting or finance.
• Experience in post‑merger integration projects or large transformation initiatives.
• Experience in SOX control documentation/execution.
• Advanced Excel skills with large transactional data.
• Experience with Salesforce, Oracle NetSuite, or Microsoft D365 is a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, critical‑thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize and multitask.
