Accounting Manager (f/m/d)

Mission of the Position: As Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health and reliability of Nexun’s operations in Germany. You will manage day-to-day accounting activities and support accurate reporting, providing financial transparency and efficiency to support Nexun’s growth. This position reports to the CFO in Lyon, France.

Responsibilities

• Independent handling of day-to-day accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, banking, etc.)
• Preparation of monthly financial statements and reporting
• Oversee monthly closing activities, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
• Reconciliation of accounts and clarification of outstanding items
• Contribution to management reporting
• Prepare and file VAT returns and other tax declarations; ensure compliance with local regulations
• Support in preparing annual financial statements
• Continuous improvement of internal financial processes
• Participate in the roll-out of a new ERP system (Odoo)

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in a digital or dynamic environment
• Proficiency with accounting software (Datev), ERP (Odoo) and MS Office
• Solid knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements (HGB)
• Accurate, structured, and independent working style
• Good command of German and English
