Currently, we are looking for an AI Architect to join our team in Germany.
Responsibilities
- Communication and consulting: Providing trusted advice to renowned companies and managing customer projects from conception to approval. Customers and colleagues value your opinion and follow your advice.
- Architecture and design: Architecture and design of AI systems encompassing classical machine learning, LLMs, and agent‑based AI. Design and implementation of business‑critical applications, platforms, and workflows.
- Concept and quality standards: Developing and defining quality standards during the implementation of AI solutions. Selecting suitable tools and components to meet functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Reviewing and evaluating architectural approaches and infrastructures to improve security, cost efficiency, or prepare for migration/modernisation.
- Technical leadership and delivery: Leading delivery engagements for enterprise customers and large organisations. Managing customer relationships and roadmaps together with the sales team.
- Technical implementation: Selection and integration of LLMs/foundational models, guidance on RAG, tool usage, and agent orchestration. Automation of AI environments with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure‑as‑code. Development of scalable AI applications or AI platforms and handover to operations.
- Technological vision: Working with new technologies and services as well as established industry standards.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Extensive practical experience with AI projects in an enterprise environment
- Knowledge of data science, AI Ops/ML Ops
- Experience in consulting, pre‑sales, and conducting workshops
- Experience in leading teams of cloud engineers and architects
- Experience with software development with standard programming languages and methods (e.g., Python)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud
- Knowledge of DevOps/DevSecOps and/or platform engineering and infrastructure‑as‑code (e.g., Terraform or Ansible)
- Experience with the Elastic Stack (Search, Kibana), Prometheus, and Grafana
- Familiarity with Databricks, MLflow/Model Registry, feature stores, and data governance
- Experience with containerised microservices architectures and API design and their cloud deployment (containers, Kubernetes, Helm)
- Knowledge of security, networking, virtualization, high availability, storage, and databases
- Passion for sharing knowledge and mentoring others
