Our client is a respected name in aircraft manufacturing and engineering. They're looking for a skilled Aircraft Mechanic with a background in structural assembly and production engineering to support ongoing fuselage build and repair operations.

Role Overview:

Aircraft Mechanic - Structural Assembly (Production Engineering)
Freelance (AUG/ANÜ)
Location: Munich (Oberpfaffenhofen)
Contract Length: 15 months
Rate: €3,500-€4,000 gross/month

Our client is a respected name in aircraft manufacturing and engineering. They're looking for a skilled Aircraft Mechanic with a background in structural assembly and production engineering to support ongoing fuselage build and repair operations.

Role Overview:

This role involves assembling structural components of aircraft fuselages, working from technical drawings and adhering to aviation standards. You'll be part of a team focused on precision, reliability, and maintaining high production quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble sheet metal parts (outer skin, bulkheads, stringers, stiffeners) into aircraft fuselages
• Perform structural work and fixture-related tasks based on construction documents
• Process and confirm work orders and routing cards
• Carry out structural repairs in accordance with SRM and SPR procedures
  

Requirements:

• Completed vocational training as an aircraft mechanic (specialising in production engineering) or similar metalworking trade with aviation certification
• Experience in structural engineering and aircraft assembly
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Basic English skills
• Valid background check in accordance with LuftSIG §7
  

Additional Details:

• Working hours: Flexitime (start between 06:00-08:00)
• Shift: Single shift (T2-T3 classification)
• Medical check-up: G20 required
• PPE: S3 safety shoes
• Background check documents required
• Nationality restrictions may apply - please refer to the official list
