Responsibilities

  • Work in AML/TF and sanctions prevention and control projects, including non-financial risk management reviews and process development.
  • Plan, prepare, implement and follow-up on compliance reviews.
  • Process internal and external inquiries with complex issues from sanctions/embargoes and AML/TF within high-risk areas.
  • Further develop professional risk assessments and evaluate and analyse sanctions-relevant processes.
  • Analyse, process and monitor processes for the prevention of sanctions/embargoes in various IT monitoring systems.
  • Support in recording and assessing compliance risks and control.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or related field.
  • Proficiency in English and German.
  • 3+ years experience in economic sanctions and anti-money laundering within an insurance company, bank, or similar financial service provider.
  • Familiarity with key sanctions law provisions (EU, UN, OFAC, UK) and their application in the financial services sector.
  • Experience with IT monitoring and portfolio management systems.
  • Proven track record in developing AML/TF policies and procedures and ensuring their effective implementation.
  • Ability to work in a structured, meticulous, and independent manner under tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in using all Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in insurance or asset management business functions, consulting, digital / tech.
  • Experience applying ChatGPT, Generative AI, and Ethical AI solutions.
