Responsibilities

• Active deal sourcing and screening of new investment opportunities
• Preparation of industry research to form new investment hypotheses
• Joint responsibility for the investment process (business identification, evaluation, due diligence activities and legal terms negotiation)
• Support in portfolio management (including supporting the senior team with board governance tasks and monitoring operating milestones in the investment portfolio, translating company performance into insights for limited partners)
• Represent b2venture at local and international events and conferences

Requirements

Your Profile:

Required Qualifications:

• You have an excellent academic track record
• You have 0-2 years of relevant work experience, best in entrepreneurial environments (in a startup, VC, tech company or similar)
• You are a digital native, curious and love to explore new products and technologies
• You are a self-starter, able to work independently, and take initiative
• You are a team player with a strong work ethic, humility, a can-do attitude, and a collaborative mindset
• You combine a structured mind and strong analytical skills with the ability to think originally
• You are curious with a deep willingness to learn
• You are a strong communicator, consummate networker and relationship builder
• You are fluent in spoken and written English and German. Any third language is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Technical i.e. Engineering Background
• Coding / Programming Skills
• Data science / analytics skills

• As a next step, you will meet a few people from our investment team via Zoom, including a case study. We are a small team, so we would like you to meet every member of our Fund Investment Team.
• As a final step, we will invite you to our offices so you can meet everyone in person and see where you would be working.
